POEMS

ALL THE HEMISPHERES
- Hafiz

Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch out
like a welcomed season
on the meadow and shores and hills.
Open up to the Roof.
Make a new watermark on your excitement
and love.
Like a blooming night flower,
bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
and giving
upon our intimate assembly.
Change rooms in your mind for a day.
All the hemispheres in existence
lie beside an equator
in your heart.
Greet yourself
in your thousand other forms
as you mount the hidden tide and travel
back home.
All the hemispheres in heaven
are sitting around a fire
chatting
while stitching themselves together
into the great circle inside of
you.

THE SHIP SUNK IN LOVE
- Rumi

Should Love's heart rejoice unless I burn?
For my heart is Love's dwelling.
If You will burn Your house, burn it, Love!
Who will say, 'It's not allowed'?
Burn this house thoroughly!
The lover's house improves with fire.
From now on I will make burning my aim,
From now on I will make burning my aim,
for I am like the candle: burning only makes me brighter.
Abandon sleep tonight; traverse for one night
the region of the sleepless.
Look upon these lovers who have become distraught
and like moths have died in union with the One Beloved.
Look upon this ship of God's creatures
and see how it is sunk in Love.

SONGS

Come Into Your Calling
Oh when we come into our calling
We become bells
Calling to everyone else:
Oh, come, come into your calling

Freedom
Freedom, Freedom,
Freedom is within me now.
This I know, This I know,
This I Know, it is within me now

Ocean Breathing

Ocean Breathing
Ocean breath breathing me,
Ocean breath breathing me,
Ocean breath, breathing;
Ocean breath, breathing me.

Lifting and falling breathing me;
Lifting and falling breathing me,
Lifting and falling, breathing;
Ocean breath breathing me.

Holding, releasing breathing me,
Holding, releasing breathing me,
Holding, releasing, breathing;
Ocean breath breathing me.

Eternal breath breathing me,
Eternal breath breathing me,
Eternal breath, breathing;
Ocean breath breathing me.

Ocean breath, breathing me,
Ocean breath, breathing me,
Ocean breath, breathing;
ocean breath, breathing me

Bells of Norwich
Loud are the bells of Norwich and the
People come and go
Here by the Tower of Julian I
Tell them what I know

Chorus
Ring out bells of Norwich and
Let the winter come and go
All shall be well again, I know

Love, like the yellow daffodil, is
Coming through the snow
Love, like the yellow daffodil is
Lord of all I know

Chorus

Ring for the yellow daffodil the
Flower in the snow
Ring for the yellow daffodil and
Tell them what I know

Chorus, then the next bit sung to the chorus tune

All shall be well, I'm telling you
Let the winter come and go
All shall be well again, I know
All shall be well again, I know
All shall be well again, I know
